LEARN A TRADE! FEBRUARY 21, 2017 – APRIL 21, 2017

St. Lawrence College is presenting a nine week Introduction to the Construction Trade training program that will provide you with the skills employers are looking for.

You will graduate with well-rounded knowledge, practical skills, and pertinent certifications including WHMIS, 1st Aid/CPR, Traffic Control, Working at Heights, Confined Space Awareness, Scaffold Safety, and Lockout Tagout. Upon successful completion of this 9 week program, you will be placed on a paid work experience. You will also receive:

Work boots;
Safety equipment;
Toolbelt and tools;

You may qualify for funding:

  1. If you are unemployed and not receiving EI;
  2. If you are a person with self identified disability, who is ready and willing to work;
  3. If you are less than 30 years of age and have a barrier to employment such as not having graduated from high school;
