Indigenous Pathways to Employment Tyendinaga Program

ST. LAWRENCE COLLEGE IN PARTNERSHIP WITH KAGITA MIKAM AND MOHAWKS OF THE BAY OF QUINTE

Presents the Indigenous Pathways to Employment Tyendinaga Program to help prepare you for employment. This 20-week program will provide you with the skills employers are looking for.

The first five weeks will provide paid employability skills training, resume preparation, and certification in WHMIS, First Aid/CPR/AED, Working at Heights, Traffic Control, Bridge Construction, Genie Boom/Scissor Lift, Telehandler, Rigging and Hoisting, and Safety Training, followed by a 15-week work experience. Earn $14.00 per hour and a $500 completion bonus at the end of the program.

THIS PROGRAM WILL RUN FROM February 25, 2019 to July 12, 2019

If you are Indigenous (First Nations, Metis, Inuit) in need of assistance to overcome employment barriers, and not receiving El, you are eligible to apply.
