St. Lawrence College is presenting an eight-week General Labourer Program to help you prepare for employment in a variety of different sectors or environments, such as construction, manufacturing, or landscaping.

This eight-week program will provide you with the skills employers are looking for! You will graduate with well-rounded knowledge, training, and certifications, such as WHMIS, Occupational Health & Safety, Working at Heights, Confined Space Awareness, Traffic Control Person, Personal Protective Equipment, Transportation of Dangerous Goods, Hazardous Materials Spills, Lock Out/Tag Out, CPR/First Aid/AED, Fork Lift, Introduction to Manufacturing, Math Refresher, Employability Skills and hands-on Basic Construction Skills.

This program runs June 24 – August 16, 2019

Funding may be available to cover tuition and transportation through the Government of Canada’s Opportunities Fund (Skills for Employment). If you are Indigenous and self identify as having a physical or mental disability and not currently receiving Employment Insurance (EI), you may be eligible to apply. To see if you qualify, contact:
